We had two lovely new recipes this week. The Beetroot Soup and Nasi Goreng.
Both recipes were lovely and filling and not too calorific as we are trying to pay attention to how we eat, although i still have that crave of a sneaky biscuit later on in the day.
The Nasi Goreng was made healthy by substituting Rice with Cauliflower Rice and although not as authentic was equally delicious. I found by making the paste fresh made such a difference than that of a shop bought spice paste and i had all but one ingredient in the cupboard, even better for the wallet.
