Welcome to this weeks menu.
I hope that you find some inspiration in some of the dishes that we have had this week. I must admit we do like to have a relaxed day every now and again which is why cheese and toast was a choice this week. How do you have your cheese on toast, is the question? Are you the one that likes it simple with maybe a bit of Worcestershire sauce drizzled over the top, or like me I like having some Mexicana melted on top of a nice thick slice of toast.
We also kept with an English theme near the end of the week in celebration of St Georges Day, which was on Saturday 23 April. The fish and chips were from our local chip shop, The Silver Fish Bar, which we enjoy. On Saturday, I made a lovely home-made toad in the hole with mustard mash and was devoured by us all. In fact, my wife and I had more Yorkshire pudding smothered in onion gravy.
So it’s the end of the week, and we are ready for a fresh set of recipes. I hope you are too.
